The Islanders, as a team, have been very solid this season, it's have a more balanced attack than in the past couple of seasons.  The team has three power play units and each unit can score on the man advantge.  The penalty kill has been a real bright spot this season and currently sits as the second best in the entire league at 90.11%.  In net they have three goalies that would be a top guy on any team in the league.  Kevin Belanger and Patrick Spaulding are both in the top 10 in the league.  Brent Petrowski has only played one game so far due to injury, but that one was a shutout against the Wild.
