Tyler Gillen Signs Tender with Cape Cod

Cape Cod Islanders coach Jay Punsky is pleased to announce that Tyler Gillen has signed a Tender Agreement for the 2016-17 season.  Gillen was a standout for the Baystate Breakers in the USPHL last season where he tallied 15 goals and 17 assists in 28 games. 

"We are excited to have Tyler signed for next season," Punsky said "he plays with an edge and can put up points in bunches.  We are looking for great things out of him.  I plan on using him in every situation as he has shown that he's a guy we will be able to depend on to make a big play when we need it most."

The Islanders are excited to be prticipating in it's first NA3HL Draft on June 14th at 5 pm. The Islanders hold the 45th pick in the draft.  The draft order was selected by winnng percentage and Cape Cod had the fourth highest in the 48 team league.  The draft will be broadcast on the FASTHockey network.
