The Islanders struggled against the Generals 7-3 in home game

Joseph Wilson came up big, stopping 23 of 29 shots throughout the game. The Northeast Generals took the lead late in the first on a goal from Bransen Mackey and never looked back.

Cole Therrien delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Christopher Constable chipped in with 2 assists. Marc Faia had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 goals and Austin Braley contributed with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

In the first, Braley opened the scoring for the Generals with a goal at 4:53 with a helper from his linemate O’dowd. Faia quickly followed with a goal at 6:28 with a helper from his teammate Mackey. Kelly netted a goal at 9:41 with an assist from Lockhead. Therrien quickly followed with a goal at 11:21 with helpers from Dougherty and Constable. Mackey answered for Northeast with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:18 with an assist from his linemate Braley.

In the second, Faia netted a goal at 1:19 with a helper from Lopaev. Braley scored a goal at 11:51 with assists from Mackey and Whalen.

In the third period, Lockhead put in a goal at 9:00 with helpers from his linemates, Lockhead and Kelly. Therrien quickly followed with a goal at 10:10 with an assist from Constable. Little netted a goal at 18:28 with helpers from Therrien and Conway.

This loss brings the Cape Cod Islanders’ record to (1-3-0-0).
