The Islanders fall to the Stars 2-1

The Cape Cod Islanders' defense had a poor night, allowing the New England Stars 27 shots throughout the game. The New England Stars took the lead late in the first on a goal from Cole Archambeault and never looked back.

During the first, Norris opened the scoring for the Stars with a goal at 19:12 with a helper from his teammate Barter. Archambeault quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:54 with assists from his linemates, Caisse and Gudaitis.

In the second period, St. Amand finally put Cape Cod on the board with a goal at 13:06 with a helper from defenseman Marston.

This loss brings the Cape Cod Islanders’ record to (6-17-1-0).
