Isles Sign Former Bourne High School Captain Mitch Eldridge

The Cape Cod Islanders are pleased to announce that they have signed Cape Cod native and former Bourne High School standout Mitch Eldridge.  Eldridge scored 12 goals and added 30 assists while serving as the team captain for the Canalmen last season. "I am very excited to be part of the Islanders organization and can't wait for the season to start."  Eldridge said  "I want to do everything I can to help the team be successful and to raise my game to the next level."

Head coach Jay Punsky has been hard at work recruiting a team that will make noise in the NA3EHL.  "It's going to be an exciting time to be part of this team this year. The addition of Mitch, not only adds another scoring weapon but also adds a guy who knows what it means to be a leader."

There will definitely be a learning curve for Eldridge, but when he hits his stride he will be a guy that is fun to watch.  He certainly has all the tools and will make the Islanders a better all around team through his hard work and leadership.
