Cape Cod has tendered two current Maine Moose 18U players for the 17-18 season. Tanner McClure and Cole Ouellette have both signed tenders with Cape and are excited about the opportunity for the coming season. Both Tanner and Cole were a part of the Maine Moose 16U team that captured the 2016 National Championship this past year in Wayne, NJ and will be attending the 18U National Championship out in Michigan in April.
Tanner McClure a forward has had four consecutive 50 point seasons with the Moose along with four consecutive trips to the National Championship. Cole Ouellette a defenseman has also had success with four consecutive 40 point seasons with the Moose along with four trips to Nationals. GM Dan Hodge said he is very excited to be getting two players with these skill sets. Hodge went on to say obviously they are used to playing at high levels of play and with McClure’s speed and ability to bury the puck along with Ouellette’s defensive skill set and his offensive mindset is going to help our team compete. These guys are used to winning and that’s what we are looking for, guys who want to come in and compete get the job done.
