The Cape Cod Islanders are pleased to announce that Centerville, Utah native Tanner Little has been signed a Tender Agreement. Little the 5'10" 170 pound forward played for the Utah Golden Eagles at the Tier 2 Nationals where head coach Jay Punsky scouted him. Punsky was immeditately impressed with the power forward and was able to sign him to a tender agreement this past week.
"I was very impressed with Tanner's gritty play" the reigning coach of the year said "he thrives on winning battles and creating ice for his linemates. He has a scorers touch that will translate well to our level."
Little is a physical forward that thrives on getting his nose dirty and competing in areas that other players don't like. "I enjoy working in front of the net and I'm not afraid to take a hit to make the play" Little said "I thrive on being a team first player and using my passion in a positive way to help us succeed. I am excited to be a member of the Islanders family and can't wait until the puck drops in September."
