Islanders Sweep Wild, Punch Playoff Ticket

The Cape Cod Islanders are headed to the post season for the second straight year.  They qualified with a weekend sweep of the Maine Wild in Biddeford with wins of 6-3 and 6-1.  The Islanders were lead by Aaron Deady’s 2 goals on Saturday and a pair from Cole Therrien on Sunday.

With the sweep the Islanders earned a first round playoff date with a team they are very familiar with, the New England Stars.  The Stars will have the home ice advantage due to their second place finish in the NA3HL Coastal Division.

The series schedule will be made public later this week.
