Islanders Looking Towards 2018-19 Season

While the Cape Cod Islanders season did not go as planned the team is already looking forward to the 2018-19 NA3HL campaign.  Head coach Alex Drulia will be back behind the bench and has already begun his recruiting.

Coach Drulia will be looking to add pieces to the team that will compliment the returning players.  He will be focused on finding some goal scoring and bolster his defensive corps while looking to find top flight goaltending.

“Basically we have some really solid pieces in place for next year” Drulia said “as an organization I need to do a really good job recruiting this summer.”

Drulia joined the Islanders a few months into last season.  “When Alex arrived he was asked to do a very tough job.  We did a poor job recruiting last summer and had a very small roster and we were not competing the way I thought we should have been” Islanders president Dan Hodge said  “When he came in he changed the culture immediately and the players we had hear immediately bought in.  I am very eager to see what this team will look like next season.”

While the 17-18 season has past the future burns bright for the Islanders under coach Alex Drulia’s direction.
