Islanders Blank Stars 2-0 on the Road

Anton Zemba recorded a shutout against New England as Cape Cod picked up a 2-0 win.

Cape Cod was led by Dan Demarco, who racked up one goal. Demarco scored on the power play 2:29 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Cape Cod. Cape Cod had taken the advantage when New England's Kyle Weiss got sent off for holding. Mike Jessman provided the assist.

Cape Cod excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Cape Cod could not produce up to its normal offensive output.
